About us
One of the founders of our store comes from a family that has been a rice wholesaler in Japan since 1940. Rice has been a part of people's lives in Japan since ancient times. Even today, it is a popular ingredient essential to Japanese cuisine. The founder has had many opportunities to interact with the Filipino people in recent years. In this context, I wanted to introduce Japanese rice cooking culture to the Philippines, which places importance on rice food culture just like Japan. So when we thought about what kind of rice dish is the most accessible, we focused on "onigiri," the most popular dish in daily life in Japan, for both children and adults. Onigiri can be eaten easily anytime, anywhere. It is very popular as both a staple food and a snack. We arrived in the Philippines with the goal of letting people know how delicious rice is through onigiri, which can be enjoyed in any situation, such as in a bento box or on a picnic.

Good for health!! The power of "ONIGIRI"
<The Power of ONIGIRI ①> Onigiri is a grain food that uses rice. Because it is digested and absorbed more slowly than powdered foods such as bread, it retains energy for a long time and keeps you full.
<The Power of ONIGIRI ②> Onigiri are delicious freshly made and warm, but they remain delicious even when they've cooled down. Therefore, it is popular as a portable meal such as lunch boxes. When the rice in the onigiri cools, it turns into a hard-to-digest starch called ``resistant starch,'' which has the same function as dietary fiber. Resistant starch slows down digestion and absorption, prevents blood sugar levels from rising rapidly, and helps improve the intestinal environment.
<The Power of ONIGIRI ③> The seaweed wrapped around rice balls contains a lot of dietary fiber. This seaweed also promotes a gentle intestinal regulation effect. It also contains vitamin C, vitamins B1 and B2, and protein. It is also effective for whitening and relieving fatigue.
